PDG Deb Gimblett
Assistant Regional Co-ordinator Zone 7B
RC Levin

Deb lives in Foxton, Horowhenua NZ with husband Neville when they are home. They have 3 adult children -Jenn 31, Amanda 33, Lisa 35. No sign of them being grandparents yet.

Deb’s back ground is nursing and the last 14 years saw her run the Gimblett Pharmacy in Foxton with her Pharmacist husband Neville.

March 2016 saw Deb and Neville sell the Pharmacy and now they have a very different life style which has them travelling NZ with Neville working as a locum pharmacist and doing a bit of house sitting up and down the country side.

In between this Deb fits in Rotary. Lap top computers are amazing. She joined Rotary 2003 .She has been President, AG , District Chair of several committees and then 2013/14 was District Governor for District 9940.

She currently is District Chair for Club Development, Assistant Rotary Coordinator for Membership District 9930/9940 and the Women In Rotary Coordinator District 9940.

As DG Deb took on Paul Harris’s  statement  “ This is a changing world; We must be prepared to change with it. The story of Rotary will have to rewritten again and again. Not afraid of change she ran a Project based Conference in Foxton among other changes at a District level.
Deb believes this still applies today  - even more so and is keen to be part of the change to see Rotary be relevant and thrive today.
